We hope that your studies are going well as we move further into the semester! Alamance Community College has adopted Respondus Lockdown and Monitor for the administration of proctored online exams. If you are enrolled in online or hybrid courses, your instructor may require you to use Respondus for one or more proctored exams.
But what exactly is Respondus? It's a digital solution for conducting supervised exams, a process traditionally overseen by instructors or college staff. In the current era of digital classrooms, Respondus serves as an effective means to authenticate your identity and maintain the integrity of the academic process.
To support your use of Respondus, Alamance Community College offers a variety of resources. An informative overview and a detailed student guide for Respondus are both readily available online for your convenience. You can access these using the links below and through the Online Learning Orientation found in the Getting Started section of your Moodle course.
